Crimson Noir
A study in cinematic opulence
Crimson Noir is a hospitality and interior design project located in Manhattan, New York. Designed as a sanctuary for the city's after-dark set, the space is built on a rigorous tension between texture and light.
Floor-to-ceiling crimson velvet walls contrast with cold, monolithic veined black marble used for the bar, flooring, and vanities. A mesmerizing lighting installation features hand-blown glass pendants in a rhythmic V-formation cascading above the bar, creating a canopy of warm amber light.
Every detail -from ornate gilded mirrors to custom red velvet barstools -enhances the guest's sense of being seen while staying hidden. The result is a cinematic backdrop for the city's most sophisticated night-dwellers, where opulence is felt rather than displayed.
